This blog will describe the preparation and log of a walking trip from Rome to my hometown Antwerp. It will be a ‘100 day – 2000 km’ walk mostly using existing long distance tracks. The road will start with the Francis’s path between Rome and La Verna, then it will follow the ‘GEA’ route over the Apennines, after crossing the Po valley, the Splügen pass will be taken in the Alps, the western road in the black forest in Germany will lead me to the low countries.
The final amount that will go to AMAR for support of the projects for the integration of children who lives on the streets in Rio de Janeiro is 2563€. 1,06€ For each of the 2413 kilometers that have been walked.
A lot of thanks to all the people who brought this amount together!
