After a beautiful day, Luc arrived in Scheggia, behind Arezzo. Tomorrow he will be on the Monte Castello, this mountain is with 1400m height the highest mountain of the region.
This blog will describe the preparation and log of a walking trip from Rome to my hometown Antwerp. It will be a ‘100 day – 2000 km’ walk mostly using existing long distance tracks. The road will start with the Francis’s path between Rome and La Verna, then it will follow the ‘GEA’ route over the Apennines, after crossing the Po valley, the Splügen pass will be taken in the Alps, the western road in the black forest in Germany will lead me to the low countries.
