Wild boar with piglet near Badia Pretaglia |
This blog will describe the preparation and log of a walking trip from Rome to my hometown Antwerp. It will be a ‘100 day – 2000 km’ walk mostly using existing long distance tracks. The road will start with the Francis’s path between Rome and La Verna, then it will follow the ‘GEA’ route over the Apennines, after crossing the Po valley, the Splügen pass will be taken in the Alps, the western road in the black forest in Germany will lead me to the low countries.

Day 20: La Verna - Bradia Prataglia
Rainy day but Luc doesn't mind. The roads are marked well so everything goes smooth. Already in Badia Pretaglia for 4hrs where Luc can warm up by the fireplace and enjoys a nice soup. After that, more climbing on the mountain to a cabin where Luc can make a little fire.
