This blog will describe the preparation and log of a walking trip from Rome to my hometown Antwerp. It will be a ‘100 day – 2000 km’ walk mostly using existing long distance tracks. The road will start with the Francis’s path between Rome and La Verna, then it will follow the ‘GEA’ route over the Apennines, after crossing the Po valley, the Splügen pass will be taken in the Alps, the western road in the black forest in Germany will lead me to the low countries.

Day 21: Bradia Pretoglia - LaBurria
They predicted a lot of rain and thats what Luc is getting today. But also fog and sunshine in all kinds of combinations. In the open woods there are deers, squirrels and pigs but no humans. Passo di Callo is abandoned but Luc can get a ride to Corniolo to spend the night. He is now at the height of Firenze but 50km east.
